– DUBAI GARDEN GLOW –
This project has been developed by The Retailers Investment and positively partnered by Dubai Municipality. Our aim is to educate people, the importance of reducing carbon foot print and preserving the world by using recyclables so that the future generations can still refer to planet earth as a wonderful world. The artistic installations have been lovingly created by skilled artisans from around the globe
I had been wanting to see the Dubai Garden Glow ever since I passed it by on Sheikh Zayed Road. Fortunately, my first visit happened to be with my favorite cousins.
We didn’t have any previous information about the Garden Glow – or how big it is. To our surprise, Gates 6 and 7 of Zabeel Park turned out to be three hours worth of walking and exploring. And although I did take what seemed to be an endless number of photos, I only picked my favorites to show in this post.
The Garden Glow, divided into parts, displayed several themes in different parts of the park. We didn’t carry around the map with us and so we ended up exploring them and guessing what each one could be. My personal favorites were the Alice in Wonderland area and Dinosaur World (which I sadly did not include in this post because my photos turned out to be dim).
The Dubai Garden Glow is definitely a place for families to explore while enjoying the music, food from stalls and the current weather. Its gates are open everyday to ensure that visitors don’t miss out – creating a welcoming and exciting atmosphere to kids and adults.
Fun fact: the Dubai Garden Glow has managed to attract 150,000 visitors during the first month and will remain open until Ramadan this year in hopes of reaching 1 million!
