“fashion is instant language” – Miuccia Prada

In this style post, I’d like to express my love for outfits that are easy and quick to wear! While there’s no actual backstory or planning to this outfit or mini-shoot, I just thought it would be suitable to share ideas on putting together a quick outfit.

Although I do love me some layering and accessories – sometimes (well, most of the time) I don’t have the energy or time to plan a properly put-together outfit. The results may be catastrophic but it’s how I practice my skills in breaking the world record for dressing up.

For utmost comfort and chicness, grab a statement sweater or pullover such as: KENZO, Boy London, Adidas, etc.. or one with bold text/ graphics. Pair your sweater with a necklace that compliments it – as long as the style or print on the top doesn’t clash with the accessory. For bottoms, wear structured pants (like Culottes trousers) or A-line skirt (either midi or ankle-length) to go with the top. Finally, pick a pair of comfortable flats, kitty heels or wedges to polish up the look.

If you wear the hijab or cover your head with a scarf, I would suggest something very lightweight and easy to wrap. Here, I am wearing a Jersey scarf in light grey so that it goes well with my shoes and necklace.

On another note: if you are still searching for different styles, go ahead and get inspired like I did with some young bloggers here.
